What you'll learn

This course moves you from Claude Chat user to someone who can build tools and automate real work - ll without writing a line of code yourself. You direct in plain English. Claude does the technical work.

It is practical and hands-on, built around a real data project that runs across both sessions. You leave with working outputs, not slide decks about AI.

  • Build a working data analysis tool and interactive dashboard with Claude Code
  • Produce branded decks, docs and emails in Claude Cowork, polished enough to send
  • Create reusable Skills that match your voice, your brand and your workflows
  • Connect Claude to live data sources and business tools via MCP
  • Know when to reach for Code, Cowork or Chat, and why it matters

Who it's for

Anyone ready to move beyond chatbot use of AI. ChatGPT switchers and Claude Max subscribers who want full value from the plan.

Senior leaders and managers
You want to delegate more to AI and produce executive-quality deliverables faster. This course shows you how to brief Claude like a skilled employee.
AI-integration leads
You're responsible for how your organisation adopts AI. This course gives you hands-on fluency with Claude's most powerful capabilities so you can lead implementation from a position of knowledge.
Professionals in the built environment
Engineers, architects, quantity surveyors and construction leaders who want to move from one-off prompts to repeatable, scalable AI workflows inside their existing tools and data.

Course structure

A single project  - dummy Q3/Q4 sales data  - runs through both sessions. Session 2 builds the technical tool. Session 3 produces the work you'd actually send to people.

Session 1· 5 October, 12pm - 1pm
Tech check

Grounding session to make sure you arrive ready to build. We confirm your Claude plan, install the desktop app, verify all three tabs (Chat, Cowork, Code), install the Claude for PowerPoint add-in, cover tokens and pricing, and download your dummy data set, and set up your Cowork folder structure.

Session 2 · 12 October, 12pm - 2pm
Get work done - Claude Cowork

You work with a realistic sales data set and produce the deliverables you'd actually send to people: branded PowerPoint decks, Word docs, email drafts. You set up your workspace, capture your writing voice, build a custom Skill, connect your real email and calendar, and set up an automated morning briefing. Concepts are taught by doing, not by watching slides.

Session 3 · 19 October, 12pm - 2pm
Build the machine - Claude Code

You give Claude project context with a CLAUDE.md file, then run a subagent swarm analysis - three parallel specialists analysing your data from different angles simultaneously. You see how Code builds interactive dashboards and connects to live data via MCP. You talk in English. Claude writes the code.

Go further with the AI Institute
Our team builds automations. Your team runs them.
Agent Build
This course is where it starts, not where it ends. For those who are ready to go further, the AI Institute works directly with estate agency teams to build automations  - listing workflows, tenant screening pipelines, client communication sequences  - and hands them back through targeted training so your team can run and maintain them without depending on outside support.

"At the start of the first session, I was told I'd build a working dashboard before the two hours were up. I have zero coding skills. Mention the word "code" to me and I glaze over immediately. Not only did I build that dashboard within the session, two days later I sat down on my own and replicated the entire exercise from scratch - no instructor, no hand-holding. That's the measure of how these courses are designed. The content is genuinely practical, the delivery is clear and encouraging, and the results speak for themselves. Worth every penny — and I'll be back for more."

About the instructor

James Cussen
Claude Code + Cowork specialist

James has built a deep practical fluency with Claude's agentic capabilities - not in a lab, but solving real business problems. He specialises in helping non-technical professionals get the most out of Claude Code and Cowork: building tools, automating workflows, and producing outputs that would normally require a developer. He brings clarity to complex topics and a relentless focus on what's actually useful at work.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a coding or technical background to take this course?

None at all. Our courses are specifically designed for working professionals, executives, and design teams who want practical AI skills, not a computer science lecture.

  • If you are taking a Copilot course, basic familiarity with standard Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook) is all you need.
  • For Claude Code, Claude handles the actual coding while you direct it using plain English.
  • For visual or industry-specific paths like Nano Banana or Built Environment, we focus entirely on practical workflows, layout options, and project management—never complex programming.
Is my project and financial data secure, and can I use my own files?

Yes, absolutely. Security and confidentiality are our highest priorities, especially for our AEC and Finance cohorts:

  • Data Privacy: Microsoft Copilot and Claude enterprise plans respect your existing corporate IT permissions. The AI only sees data you are already authorized to access, and your inputs are never used to train public models.
  • Course Work: Live workshop sessions use anonymized dummy data so you can focus entirely on mastering techniques in a safe environment. You will then be given clear frameworks to confidently apply those exact same prompts to your live, proprietary project files between modules.
How is this training different from free courses or generic AI tutorials?

The market is flooded with generic "how to write prompts" videos. Our edge is entirely different:

  • Live, Expert Facilitation: You are learning in real-time alongside an executive-level peer group, guided by practitioners from companies actively deploying AI in the real world.
  • Always Up-to-Date: The second an AI model drops a new feature, we rebuild our exercises. You are getting a cutting-edge playground, not stale theory.
  • Workflow Integration: We don't just teach tools in a vacuum; we show you exactly how they talk to your existing ecosystem - whether that’s integrating Claude with Microsoft 365 or feeding Nano Banana concepts downstream into Revit, Rhino, and Photoshop.
